This 12-day tour allows you to experience the way of life of the Nomads and the beautiful Red City of Morocco. Spend nights in the Sahara Desert and see some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy camel treks in the desert, relax by the camp fire and nights and sleep directly under the stars if you wish.

What to Expect:
DAY 1: Explore Marrakech
Arrive at Marrakech airport – Our driver will pick you from the airport and drive to your Riad in the medina. After dinner, you will have the option to walk around Jemaa El Fna Square entertained by magicians, storytellers, and musicians. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 2: Explore Marrakech
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore Marrakech “the Red City of Morocco.” Guided tour of sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Jemaa el-Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short visit to the new city of Marrakech and the Koutoubia tower. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 3: Ourika Valley and the Berber Trail
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Travel to Ourika Valley, via the villages of Asni and Tahnaout. This tour will take you through the three Valleys including Tahnaout Valley, the Mulay Brahim Gorge and the Berber village of Asni. Visit a Berber family and experience their culture and see the fascinating views of the Toubkal and Oukaimeden Mountains, the highest peaks in North Africa. Lunch in Ourika Valley. Option to take 2 hours hiking; walk through the Berber village of Setti Fatma, and across the fields where you may see monkeys in their natural environment. Experience magnificent views over the waterfall. Afterwards, we will drive back to your Riad in Marrakech. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 4: Marrakech –> Ijoukak –> Tizi N’ Test Pass –> Taroudant
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Taroudant via the Tizi n’ Test Pass over the High Atlas Mountains. Experience amazing landscape through the second highest Pass in Morocco, home of many Berber tribes. Visit the Tin-Mal Mosque, a 12th century historical site, now a UNESCO heritage site. Continue over the High Atlas Mountains and through the Argan fields before you arrive in Taroudant. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 5: Explore Taroudant
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore Chefchaouen, a beautiful unique city, with blue and whitewashed buildings perched on the mountain side. Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain, so there is a lot of Spanish influence in its architecture. Opportunity to me locals and stroll around the beautiful Medina. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 6: Taroudant –> Argan National Park –> Tafraout
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Tafraout via the Berber region of Ait Baha. Continue through the amazing Argan fields where you will see herds of goats climbing the trees for fresh nuts. Continue over the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ait Baha and then to Tafraout. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 7: Explore Tafraout
Have breakfast at your Hotel. Explore the village of Tafraout, small village with a strong Berber culture, the people, and the unique landscape. See people in their traditional dress and the amazing landscape with its red granite rocks and the green Valley of Ameln. Enjoy some free time to wander around the village on your own. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 8: Tafraout –> Tata
Have breakfast at your Hotel. Drive to Tata via the Paradise Valley. Cross the small Anti-Atlas hills and on through the Valley of Tazgzaout. Meet tent-dwelling nomadic people with their animals; this is a very remote area with a beautiful landscape. Arrive in Tata and check into your Hotel. Enjoy some free time to walk within the old village and explore the town. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 9: Tata –> Foum Zguid –> Chegaga Desert
Have breakfast at your Hotel. Drive to the Chegaga Sahara Desert through the black moonscape desert. See camel caravans and nomads along the way. Cross the dry lake of Irikki and arrive in Chegaga for the sunset. Option to take a camel ride into the dunes to watch the sunset before you have dinner in your desert camp. Overnight at desert camp Half-Board (HB).
DAY 10: Chegaga Desert –> M'hamid –> Tamegrout –> Zagora
Early in the morning watch the sunrise over the dunes before you continue your journey. Have breakfast at your camp. Drive to Zagora via the old village Tamegrout; walk within the village and then visit the Islamic library, the oldest in the area. Visit the hand-made pottery works where you will see men using traditional methods. After lunch continue your journey to Zagora. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 11: Zagora –> Draa Valley –> Quarzazat –> Marrakech
Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Marrakech via the Draa Valley and the High Atlas Mountains. Continue through the fascinating Draa Valley to Agdez and then through the Ait Saouen pass to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, a UNESCO heritage site now. The Kasbah was built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains who dominated the whole region. Enjoy numerous opportunities to take amazing photographs during the drive. Continue through Tizi N’Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains before arriving at your Riad in Marrakech. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.
DAY 12: Marrakech –> Departure
After breakfast in your hotel/Riad, we will drive you to the airport for your departure flight. Your tour ends at the airport.
