This 10-day tour include some of the best attractions Morocco has to offer. You will visit some of the major cities of Morocco including Rabat, Fez, Marrakech, and Essaouira. You will also get to spend the night in the Sahara Desert.

What to Expect:

DAY 1: Casablanca –> Rabat

Arrival at Casablanca airport – Our driver will pick you from the airport and time permitting, drive to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest Mosque outside Mecca. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 2: Rabat –> Assilah

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore Rabat and see the Hassan Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and walk the Kasbah Des Oudaia, also referred to as Kasbah Oudaya before travelling to Assilah. Drive to Assilah by the coast, with several stops along the way to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Arrive in Assilah during the afternoon and check into your Riad within the Medina. Overnight accommodation at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 3: Explore Assilah

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore the Medina of Assilah, visiting the alleys of the Medina and galleries with different exhibits explaining the culture of the area and Morocco. Assilah is known for its annual Festival for the arts, where the walls of the Medina are painted by famous artists from all over the world. Visit the fort of Skalla where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the ocean. Enjoy some free time to explore by yourself. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 4: Assilah –> Tangier –> Chefchaouen

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Chefchaouen, known as “The Blue City of Morocco”, which is also the main city in the Rif Mountain Region via Tangier. After a short drive, you will get to Tangier, “Pearl of Northern Morocco”. Enjoy a short visit to the Medina, the cave of Herculis and cap Spartle, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. After lunch in Tangier, continue over the foothills of the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Arriving at Chefchaouen in the afternoon to check in to your Riad. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 5: Explore Chefchaouen

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore Chefchaouen, a beautiful unique city, with blue and whitewashed buildings perched on the mountain side. Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain, so there is a lot of Spanish influence in its architecture. Opportunity to me locals and stroll around the beautiful Medina. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 6: Chefchaouen –> Quazan –> Volubilis –> Fez

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Fez via Ouazzane a beautiful town in the Rif Mountains – Enjoy magnificent views over the fertile plain of Lukus Valley. Continue to the Roman city of Volubilis for a Guided tour of partially excavated Berber and Roman City of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage. After the visit to this unique site, you will continue to Fez via the countryside. Overnight accommodation at Hotel/Riad of your choice. Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain, so there is a lot of Spanish influence in its architecture. Opportunity to me locals and stroll around the beautiful Medina. DAY 7: Explore Fez

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore Fez, known as the “the Spiritual City of Morocco” and walk through the Medina and its alleys. Visit cultural and historical sites including the famous Al-Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Madrasa Bou Inania, the famous Tanneries and the Nejjarine Fountain. After lunch, travel outside the Medina and see the Royal Palace gate, walk through “Mellah”, the Jewish quarter and visit the Pottery Cooperative. Drive to one of the Fortresses to experience a panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fez. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 8: Fez –> Ifrane –> Azrou –> Meknes

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Drive to Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” via the cedar forest and then on to Meknes. See the Barbary apes in the wild and have the chance to feed them while taking pictures. Continue the journey over the Middle Atlas Mountains to Azrou, a Berber village. After lunch in Azrou, continue to Meknes. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 9: Explore Meknes

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad. Explore the Medina of Meknes, previously the capital of Morocco during the reign of Mulay Ismail, thereby known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco as well as “the Walled City”. Visit the Bab Mansour Gate, the imperial Granaries and Stables, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Sahrij Souani basin. Enjoy some free time to wander around the square entertained by story tellers, musicians and snake charmers. Overnight accommodation at your Hotel or Riad.

DAY 10: Meknes –> Casablanca –> Departure

Have breakfast at your Hotel or Riad, after which we will drive you to Casablanca airport for your flight. Tour ends.
