This 10-Day tour is a great introduction to the many attractions and fascinating landscapes that Morocco has to offer. You will visit the major cities of Morocco including Casablance, Rabat, Fez, Marrakech, and Essaouira. You will also get to spend the night in the Sahara Desert.

What to Expect:

DAY 1: Casablanca –> Rabat

Arrival at Casablanca airport – Our driver will pick you up from the airport and time permitting, drive to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest Mosque outside Mecca. Drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. On the way, stop to see the Hassan Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and walk the Kasbah Des Oudaia, also referred to as Kasbah Oudaya. Visit the Chellah Ruins and Gardens built by the Romans in 40AD. Overnight accommodation at Riad/Hotel of your choice.

DAY 2: RABAT –> MEKNES –> VOLUBILIS –> FEZ

Have breakfast at your Riad. Drive to Fez via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. Visit the Bab Mansour Gate, one of the most amazing gates in the world; the imperial Granaries and Stables the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis for a Guided tour of partially excavated Berber and Roman City of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage. Continue via the highway to Fez. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 3: EXPLORE FEZ

Breakfast at your Riad. Explore Fez, known as the “the Spiritual City of Morocco” and walk through the Medina and its alleys.Visit cultural and historical sites including the famous Al-Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Madrasa Bou Inania, the famous Tanneries and the Nejjarine Fountain. After lunch, travel outside the Medina and see the Royal Palace gate, walk through “Mellah”, the Jewish quarter and a short visit to the ceramic factory. Drive to one of the Fortresses to experience a panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fez. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 4: FEZ–> AZROU–> MIDELT–> ZIZ VALLEY–> MERZOUGA

Breakfast at your Riad.Stop in Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” Enjoy stunning views of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain while driving.Visit the famous Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco. Lunch in Midelt and continue journey via Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. Drive through the Berber villages to Erfoud, and then Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA –> CAMEL TREK –> DESERT CAMP

Have breakfast at your Riad.Visit the Gnawa (Gnaoua) people, originally slaves brought from West Africa and experience their music and lifestyles. See the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations and visit the souk in Rissani.Guided camel ride to explore the sand sea of Merzouga. Overnight at desert camp where you will have your dinner.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA–> TODRA GORGES–> DADES GORGES

Enjoy an early morning spectacular view of the sunrise in the Sahara Desert. Camel trek back to the village of Merzouga, enjoying the spectacular view of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Have breakfast at your Riad.Drive to Dades Valley, and see the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest Gorges in Morocco. After lunch, enjoy an optional hike through the fields and visit an old mud village, meet the locals and learn about the culture. Continue through Dades Valley and enjoy seeing majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 7: DADES VALLEY–> KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU–> TIZI N’TICHKA PASS–> MARRAKECH

Have breakfast at your Hotel. Drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate, the door of the desert. Enjoy numerous opportunities to take amazing photographs during the drive.Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, “the City of Roses”, to purchase the rosewater. Continue to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO world heritage site.Continue through Tizi N’Tichka Pass over the High Atlas Mountains before arriving at your Riad in Marrakech. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 8: EXPLORE MARRAKECH

Have breakfast at your Riad.Explore Marrakech “the Red City of Morocco.”Guided tour of sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Jemaa el-Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, the Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the Majorelle Gardens, and have a short visit to the new city of Marrakech and the Koutoubia tower. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 9: EXPLORE ESSAOUIRA

Have breakfast at your Hotel.Visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. Lunch in a Moroccan way with freshly bought seafood ‘cooked to order’. Enjoy some free time to wander around, go to the beach and enjoy time to yourselves. Essaouira is also referred to as the “City of the Wind” and it attracts surfers from all over the world. There is an annual Festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually, it starts in the second week of June. Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

DAY 10: MARRAKECH –> CASABLANCA –> DEPARTURE

After breakfast in the Riad,we will drive you  to the airport for departure flight.your tour ends at the airport.

Payment Policy

20% deposit is required at the time of booking and the remaining 80% at least 4 weeks before the start of the tour. Payments can be made wire directly to our bank account in Morocco or the United States. We will provide account details upon your request. If you chose to pay the remaining balance by cash in US Dollars, Euros or MAD, we will accept payment on your arrival in Morocco. We also accept payments by credit cards. If paying by credit card, please include an additional 3% to cover the fees incurred, 5% for American Express.

Cancellation Policy

If due to an emergency you cancel 30 or more days prior to your arrival date, we will refund your deposit in full, less any fees to return. If you cancel between 30 and 14 days prior to the arrival date, we will keep the 20% deposit. If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the arrival date, we will require the remaining 80% to cover the full amount.
